I chose this one-year, high-quality training program because I wanted to have a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of project development. As an aspiring UX/UI designer, I believe it is important to have a 360-degree perspective before specializing in this field. This program provided me with practical experience in web front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end programming (Java, PHP with Symfony framework). It included building Java desktop applications with Swing, creating 3D graphics with OpenGL, and developing web applications using MySQL and MongoDB databases. Additionally, I gained knowledge in Unix system administration, cybersecurity, and web application deployment. The training also covered web design principles, UX/UI design, digital communication, and project management. A 3-week team project and 32 weeks of work experience allowed me to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, preparing me for further studies in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or Human-Computer Interaction at the master’s level.

I Participated in the Erasmus exchange program at UPEC, focusing on Information and Communication. I took courses in Sociology, Communication, Philosophy… This experience was truly important as it broadened my horizons and helped me grow both academically and personally. It enhanced my adaptability, as I navigated a new academic environment and learned French, given that the courses were taught in French. This not only improved my ability to follow content in another language but also strengthened my ability to adjust to different cultural and educational settings. Overall, it was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of various fields while expanding my cultural and linguistic skills.

The program I completed offered a distinctive blend of IT competencies (Java Programming, Web Development, Data Mining, etc.), digital communication and design (Web Journalism, Interaction Design, etc.), and socio-economic studies (Economics and Law in the Digital Age, Network Society Theory and Research Methods, Legal Informatics, etc.). The curriculum emphasized social innovation through technology, combining technical knowledge with a critical understanding of the dynamics of digital society. I graduated with a score of 108/110, with a thesis in Interaction Design, as I aspire to become a UX/UI designer, titled ‘User Experience Design: Investigation and Redesign of the Astense Library Website to Improve Usability and Content Accessibility.’

The High School of Human Sciences with a socio-economic focus provided me with a foundation in economics, law, and social sciences. My final thesis, “Media, Technologies and Democratic Participation,” explored the critical role of new technologies in contemporary society, demonstrating my early interest in the field.
